St Lawrence Motel

It was a nice place with a pool, soccer goal, swings, it was nice for kids. Unfortunately, the pool hours are from 11h30 to 7h30. No one can use it, it is not convenient at all. They were also a lot of earwigs in the motel, but since it is humid outside, they try to get in dry places, not really the motels fault.

We loved having a “home base” on our vacation! Everything we needed to make our own meals was provided in the little kitchen and the market was just a hop skip and jump away to purchase grocery supplies. The beds were very comfortable with good quality mattresses and the roomy glass shower was a pleasant way to clean up for the day. The gem of the stay was the pool… it was beautiful, clean and heated to the perfect temperature (cool enough to feel refreshing but warm enough to have no trouble getting in)! Someone was always in the office to provide clean towels whenever the need arose. I wish I had brought my HDMI setup as we preferred watching Netflix or TiVo on the iPad but cable was provided as an option. Overall we had a really wonderful stay at the St Lawrence Motel!

Great location, good sized living, kitchen, grill, and full fridge. Good access to many locations including Cavendish, Summerside, Charlottetown and beaches along the north shore. Two coffee shops within 5 minutes. Only complaint is that the sound proofing between rooms is just fair, thankfully our neighbors were not up late.

Manager was amazing, drove us to the festival for free and was super nice. Rooms are very clean and well maintained!

I loved how the rooms “were cottage like” with a living room and separate bedroom and kitchen.

The place was perfect for us… ready to book next summer, same place! Would appreciate if pool hours were longer, room was great had everything and more that we needed to feel like we had brought home with us!!

This property was comfortable and close to the areas of interest. There were also multiple restaurants close by. The only issues that came to light were that there seem to be an earwig problem and the rooms were quite out dated and need of a up date of Devore and furniture

This property was a a hidden gem perfect for a family with children. The pool is immaculate. We travelled with two small children who enjoyed running around the lawn on the property, joining in on a soccer game with other kids and playing on the swing set. It’s set back from the road and it’s a safe place away from traffic. The cottage was rustic but very clean and the beds were comfortable. The owners are so kind and welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We were so close to North Rustico Beach and not far from the Cavendish Boardwalk and activities. We will happily return whenever visiting PEI.

Not as advertised! Do NOT depend on the pull out sofa bed as additional sleeping. We selected and paid for this place because they offered a pull out sofa. It was NOT useable .Mattress was comparable to tissue paper. Had to share the one queen bed. Check bedding! Upon pulling back sheets, we discovered a lot of hair and questionable black chunks of “something”.No hair dryers in room nor available from office. Also no irons/boards. Be sure to bring yours! Side note:No paper towels or cork screw. The Owner and Manager were nice and did eventually provide a mattress from “somewhere “ but I do feel overall it was it was a “inconvenient experience”. I only hope they take the steps to ensure future guests do not have this same experience😔
