Hotel Hygge

Very clean with convenient parking right in front of the door. DirectTV with all the cable channels too! Strong AC unit.

The self check-in by a code number didn't work very well and took several tries. The door did not close easily and needs to be repaired. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the adjoining room. If just these 2 issues were resolved this would be a perfect place.

Hotel Hygee was a very sweet location for our time in Buellton. We were in town for a wedding, so only at the hotel for 1 night. Our room was quaint, and the small details and design of the room were very cute! I loved the small coffee bar, and how much space we really had even in a small room.

We did not have the best experience booking our room. Through the third party, booking.com, things were fine but we were billed a different amount two different times from Hotel Hygee directly. Upon calling to discuss this with the hotel staff, they were incredibly helpful and quick to reverse the charges. It was just a bummer to have had to deal with that, as the issue was on their end, something they were aware of could happen and unfortunately happened to us twice.

The rooms are very clean and neat. Plenty of space.

The check in is a bit of a hassle .
