Princes Street Hostel

The hostel is immaculate and the location is perfect! They have great recommendations of restaurants, places to visit, and events. I went to a local traditional Scottish dance that was advertised at the hostel and it was so fun. The staff are so sweet and helpful!!

Clean rooms, amazing location and super helpful staff at reception!

Reception is up many steps, not easy with a large bag

Overall the hostel was great value. It was the perfect location to get to experience the city with easy access to transit. The facilities were clean and safe. The wifi is strong. The staff was very accommodating.

The beds and pillows could have been more comfortable, but overall not bad. My room window opened up to some noisy street with what sounded like a glass recycling center running nonstop, so a little loud at night.

Tout, s’était vieux mais très propre. WoW à la grandeur de la salle de bain avec douche . En plus toujours très propre. La chambre familiale était correct, avec juste assez d’espace pour ne pas se piler sur les pieds. Parfait pour notre court séjour de 2 nuits. J’aurais pu y passer plus de temps sans problèmes.

Malheureusement notre chambre était au 5 ieme étage pas ascenseur. S’était connu d’avance car bien indiqué dans la description et les escaliers très étroit. Faut juste en être conscient quand on réserve. Ça n’a rien de dramatique mais ça enlève un peu à l’expérience positive .

The location is perfect and the toilet and shower facilities are very clean. I know so many people say that and I was initially doubtful myself, but during my stay, everything was very clean indeed! The kitchen is well-equipped too and the lounge has plenty of tables and lots of outlets. Everything is just very convenient. I would stay here again in the future should I ever find myself fortunate to travel to Edinburgh once more!

Nothing, I liked everything. Great hostel experience. A lot of hostels should learn from this one.
