Driftwood Resort Bull Shoals

It was a great location with great views. It was January and there was no staff there. We had the whole place to ourselves. Really awesome!

Property was quiet, and clean, with a lake view. Great for fishing trips.

It was just a nice comfortable and quiet place. My wife and I really enjoyed it.

This property, as with most of the resorts in this area, is an older property. People need to understand that before they book any of these properties. That is not a negative comment; that is an honest observation. So, keep your expectations in check. The management does an excellent job with communicating and with keeping up the property. I particularly enjoyed the pool- nothing fancy, but clean and with nice deck furniture. Bedding was soft and clean and comfortable. I enjoyed having a kitchen. The room was just right for my dog. He is well-behaved and I never had to worry about anything with him.

The air conditioner should have been running for a full day before I got there, because it was over 100 degrees outside and took a few hours to cool the room. BUT this was a simple oversight and the manager apologized up front. We all need to show each other more grace. By the evening the room was totally comfortable.

It was very out dated

Our stay was short-lived as it was a last minute, one night stay for our family. The biggest concerns were 1.) the carpet was really stained and looked dirty 2.) the a/c couldn’t keep up with the heat and looked like an older window unit 3.) the cold water knob in the shower was loose so it was difficult to temper the water 4.) parking was not clearly marked, so guests parked in random places and directions making it difficult to navigate the parking lot. The pool looked clean and inviting, but we didn’t swim. The grounds have different outdoor amenities like cornhole. It was in a quiet area and there was minimal noise from the neighbors. Check in was super easy!

Grandsons loved pool and horseshoes. Beautiful surroundings and quiet.
