The apartment was smaller than we expected but comfortable nonetheless. We had all the necessary commodities, including a beach umbrella. We liked the location of the property, not too far from the centre but far enough from the noise.

The description of the property's facilities should be corrected, as no beach towels are provided. Also, the sea view is non-existent, regardless of the vegetation that has grown in front of the property. The shower wasn't very clean, and the door didn't close properly. We appreciate that when you rent an apartment, soap/shampoo/extra toilet paper, etc., are not provided. However, most people come to Lampedusa by aeroplane, and to encourage greener tourism, the owners could provide refillable soap & shampoo (which would be well covered by the current price). That would reduce the amount of plastic brought to an island that's already struggling with the amount of rubbish produced.
