Brushcreek Falls RV Resort

Pros: furnished kitchen kitchenette, friendly staff; willing to help when we was locked out at 10p, close to family, nice fireplace on the chilly evenings

Cons: noise from I-77, ants in my shower, no internet connection to work the tv, found dirt and crumbs under the bed bed when I went to get my German Shepherd ball.

The room was clean and there was plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The heat/ac and electric fireplace worked well.

The traffic noise from the interstate kept me up most of the night. Some of the towels in the bathroom should’ve been relegated to the rag pile. The kitchen was poorly stocked with old nonstick frying pans nobody should use. It was clear we were going to use the sofa bed for our third person, and there were not enough sheets for it. There was no smoke detector and a piece of the kitchen cabinet fell off and hit me on the foot. The office was closed with an emergency number that was unanswered when I called it.

We booked a cabin for 4 people, when we get there there were just one bed.we got back to the reception and they told us the sofa used to be a bed but no anymore. Their only solution was to give us an extra bed, but we had to sleep in a queen size bed 3 people, 2 adults and my 6year old daughter, it was not a good experience.

Rv right next to cabin with what looked like people lived in it full time and that rv was filthy.

The cabin was clean.

The bathroom had a lingering smell of sewage and there were absolutely no directions on how to operate the tv. Never could find a channel that would consistently stay on. No one emailed me on directions of how to get the key after hours. I had to call.

The room was clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated.

It was difficult to locate the cabin. Not marked by the name. It is not disability friendly. Steps with a physical problem was difficult to walk with baggage. The internet was slow and could not get any channels on the television. Hair dryer would have been nice. Some type of towel in the kitchen needed.

Location, size of unit and it was not a hotel.

Streaming on tv very poor and stairs to rooms.
