Ahiyan Hotel

This property is located in a very quiet part of Uchisar which is one of the quieter towns in Cappadocia, making it very relaxing. It is a short walk into town and the hotel strip near the castle which leads straight into the valley (for hiking/hot air balloons/horse riding) and a short drive (we got the bus) to the neighbouring towns. The area feels very safe. Staff were very friendly and washed our clothes for us. We loved the big breakfast spread and were given all the extras we asked for.

Staff were a bit unsure about the bus information however we were able to figure it out with some digging in Google.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and gave us great advice on how to explore Cappadocia. Thanks to their tips, we were able to make the most of our trip. Highly recommended!

Ahiyan Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. First, it is easy to drive to and parking is right up front. Then the greeting we received was lovely. The area was explained to us and options were presented for things to do. The room itself was extremely spacious and comfortable. The bed was perfect firmness. The shower was excellent- big pet peeve of my husband- his favorite shower of our one month trip to Turkey. Most of all the people who run the hotel are exceptional and go out of their way to make you feel at home. One morning we took an early morning pre-breakfast hike. We thought we would be back in plenty of time but as things go on hikes we arrived back 1/2 hour after breakfast was over. No problem- they said they were waiting for us and made us breakfast anyway. How kind !

Me and my family spent 2 nights in family suite and left completely satisfied. The hotel is great value if you're planning to visit Cappadocia and stay in Uchisar. It's 5 mins walk to Uchisar Castle and all the shops and restaurants of the old town. Rooms are big and clean with comfortable beds, and staff is friendly and happy to help.

Parking could be challenging - there is free parking on the street and street is wide enough to park a car, but I assume during high season it would be harder to find a spot.

Excellent stay, no problem at all to arrive in the middle of the night. The mattresses are very good and the rooms and bathrooms spacious. We liked the fact that breakfast is served at the table and not a buffet. Thanks Fatma and Mehmet for making our stay memorable!
