El Verano Suites

Great view, location, and staff were amazing!

The most magnificent property and views. Sokratis and his sister are very kind and accommodating. Our stay at the El Verano was like therapy for us. I wish I could stay there longer.

First time visiting Greece. What an amazing experience to celebrate our sons wedding on this property. The views are spectacular, the property is gorgeous and the hosts are top notch. They were very attentive and went out of their way to make our sons experience special. I like that the property is only minutes away from everything, yet far enough away to soak in the quiet atmosphere the property provides. Highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived Sokratis and his sister did everything they could to made sure we had a pleasant stay. The greeted us with a bottle of local wine and fresh made pastries. They provided us with their personal number for anything we may need. They helped us get a reservation at a winery and arrange taxis (one company tried charging us 70 EUR and they arranged a taxi for 45). We chose not to get a car but would recommend as the major towns are 15 min hilly walk with no sidewalks. The property itself was amazing. They do not have caldera views but the view of the island, private pool, spacious and beautiful rooms (we stayed in the cactus sweet) with private bathrooms more than makes up for it. I highly encourage everyone to stay here.

El Verano Suites was one of the most beautiful hotel stays we have enjoyed. The property is meticulously maintained, beautifully landscaped, and thoughtfully designed. Sokratis and his sister were gracious hosts who attended to our every need, including arranging transport, bringing items to our rooms, and even sharing fresh picked fruit with us from their family property (figs, grapes, and prickly pear fruit). The breakfast arrangement (in room continental breakfast) was perfect for our family and for a restful stay. They kept the kitchen stocked, as if we were at home. The personal pool was a delight that we and our teenagers enjoyed daily. Ordering in delivery to eat outside by the sea was a pleasure. The view to the east of the Aegean was as if looking at a painting - sunrise was magical. The location was removed from the bustle of the caldera facing towns and peaceful. The only downside about the location was the walk into Imerovigli which was along a busy and windy road and then up a steep hill. having a rental car or planning to take car service would be a must (and car for hire service is rather expensive on the island). Aside from that, it was a perfect place for our family of 5.

The property is gorgeous, very quiet and well located, although you’ll need a car or an ATV to go to the village. It’s not far from the restaurants but you cannot really walk on the road, there is no sidewalks and the cars drive fast. Sokratis and his sister were so welcoming and helpful. Sokratis gave us many tips upon our arrival and helped us book some restaurants throughout our stay on the island. I highly recommend this accommodation.

El Verano Suites was a very relaxing retreat. The host Socrates and Thira made everything easy for guests. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The patio area and private pool with the view makes the entire space an indoor and outdoor experience. It takes about a 15 minute walk to get around whether it’s to Thira or the local market so that’s something to consider. Other than that, my friends and I loved our stay at El Verano.

Brother and Sister hosts at this property take care of every last detail. The property is stunning and a quiet retreat from the bustling villages. On arrival we were welcome with homemade wine and help with our luggage. The hosts helped us arrange an affordable rental vehicle delivered right to the property and assisted us with navigating the island. They were either onsite or just a phone call away and responded immediately. Our suite was cleaned daily and included all the amenities we needed and more. Each morning the staff replenished our ample breakfast supplies including fresh eggs. The hosts also treated us to fresh garden produce and sweets made by the hosts mother. We had an amazing stay here and would recommend this property to everyone.

El Verano is beutiful, cozy place with a great view. The hosts, Sokratis and his sister, are amazing, helpful and focus in every detail to make our stay unforgettable. They assisted us with everything we needed: transportation arrangements, food ordering, tours, recommendations. Our family is greatful and happy to stayed there.

The property exceeded our expectations. The location was close enough to all the attractions but away from the crowds of Santorini. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and very helpful. The cleaning service was excellent and we appreciated that they restocked the fridge with breakfast items and water everyday. The views were stunning. Highly recommend this property.
