The Devlin

Very simple breakfast. Just coffee, hot water, tea, and "store bought" muffins and waffles. It was fine for what we needed. The location was great, at the end of the village area, near the Olympic speed skating oval, the hockey arena, and the museum. Staff were very friendly when we had questions.

It's rather picky, but there was no local TV, so getting news, weather, sports was a matter of going on line for newspapers for information.

The room size was great, a light continental breakfast and coffee were provided.

The pool wasn’t open and it looked rough around it.

Location was great in Lake Placid. Marginal breakfast but great restaurants near by.

For the price it was a bit rundown. Had to move rooms due to Internet/TV not working.

Beautiful view. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean.

Many lights did not work. Not enough accessible outlets for charging and light use. Dated and worn furniture.

This motel is a gem, we have never had a bad experience staying there, in fact it is the only place we stay when visiting Lake Placid! The staff was very pleasant, they even upgraded our room as it was my husband’s birthday! The rooms are super clean and inviting. We had a wonderful time, can’t wait to go back again.

We stayed for a week and reserved a suite. It had absolutely everything we needed to make us comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, living room had two great recliners and a couch. Kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom had great amenities along with unending hot water and amazing water pressure. In the heart of Lake Placid, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Parking right outside your door. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our return trip will include a stay at the Devlin!
