Helena Cottage

Very good attention to details - a high standard of fittings within the house. Shower and hot water were great, also the bed, a good size and very comfy - quite firm. Great access to pub food at the 19th Hole, only 50 yards away, which is also dog friendly.

The living room floor looks a bit cold and empty in winter time. Somehow it needs a warmer / softer feel. Maybe a floor rug for winter users? Well adapted for families in a warm summer setting, and of course the garden furniture would be available in warmer weather.

Perfectly situated cottage in heart of Elie. 5 min walk to beach, pub couple of doors away but still very peaceful as cottage down a small lane from main road. Ideal base for exploring the rest of East Neuk. Appreciated it being dog friendly too as is ideal with close proximity to beach and scenic coastal walks nearby. Owner, Brian very helpful if any queries needed on cottage.

Perfect sweet little cottage, quiet, comfortable, and very clean. Tucked away down a wee path, and just 5 mins walk to the beach. Very well equipped for our 3 day break. Highly recommended, will definitely be back to stay in the summer.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable property. Have stayed in Elie on numerous occasions and Helena Cottage is one of the best in terms of facilities and cosy comfort. Might be a little tight for a larger party but ideal for our needs. Brian was very helpful and responded to our queries timeously.

We loved everything about our stay. The location was amazing, tucked away from the road so felt very cosy. Having WiFi was a godsend for the kids who got new phones for Christmas and were glued to them! The bedrooms were lovely and beds very comfortable. We had everything we needed except an extra weeks stay. Would love to return some time. Thanks again

Really lovely wee cottage, compact but enough for a holiday for family of four. Everything you would need in the kitchen. A few minutes to the beautiful sand beach and 1 minute to a lovely pub. Great communication from owners.
