Villa Blanca Beach Club

Very nice small property right on the beach. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurant and 'beach club' are separate from the lodging business but they work very well together. Easy walk to town and restaurants, groceries, etc. A great base for enjoying the beach at Bavaro.

Driving to the property is a bit tricky, narrow streets and lots of potholes, typical DR infrastructure. But once you are there it is easy, there is plenty of parking and 24/7 security in a gated area.

Servis in restaurant is typical Dominikan.. little be slow, but with smile and freindly.

The personal was very friendly and helpful. And the beach was just steps away from our room.

Just the shower need a little of maintenance.

Villa Blanca Beach Club is exactly what it says, right on the one of the nicest parts of Bavaro beach, a few minutes’ walk from town centre. It’s basically a beachfront bar/restaurant with a handful of rooms above. A couple have direct seas views - we were at the side but could look at the beach from our balcony. Clean sandy beach with chairs and umbrellas free for guests. Great food, reasonable prices for DR. Staff were amazing (especially Christopher). Perfect stop for independent travellers like us.

Basic, slightly dated room needs some TLC. TV only offers streaming, no channels. Got charged an extra US$170 to extend our stay by one night, which was way more than the rate we paid for our initial reservation on booking.com, but we liked the place so it wasn’t the end of the world.

Breakfast very good, position fantastic. The front beach is free not cleaned and there are many many many people, but it remain fantastic beach.

Cleanliness is poor and cleanliness staff not working. In 3 days they never come in the room. Very noisy and nightmare music high volume every evening - dining is impossible, not possible to hear your interlocutors.

The included breakfast was really nice. Fresh fruit, toast, omelettes, juice, coffee, and tea were all available. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The room had icy cold AC and room service came daily.

The apartment was beach front. There were sun loungers available for customers, but you had to consume something from the bar.. Breakfast was decent. Check out went smoothly, and communication with the facility manager was great.

Acces to the apartment area is difficult by car. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Somebody had to open the gate, and there was no one readily available despite having security 24 hours.Security guard was very impolite. The main security guard did not have the remote control of the gate, and every time we had to ask him to open the gate, he looked at us with an annoyed face. Very noisy region. It was difficult to sleep at night. If you are up for partying, this might be the right place for you. Check-in was not one of the best experiences we had.

We came for a 5 Nights vacation, and it was an amazing experience from the moment we arrived. Christopher, who attended us, was very polite and courteous and made the check in quick and easy. Then Nomar explained about what we can do during our stay in detail. The room we got was right in front of the beach, and the view was simply breathtaking. The room and bathroom were very clean. The microwave was not there in the room, but Christopher got a brand new microwave available within an hour. All the staff were welcoming and greeted every time they saw us. The location of this resort is the best part. You get out of your room, and you are at the beach. The food is lip smacking tasty and saw people from other resorts coming here for the food. Overall, we had a memorable stay, and we enjoyed every moment here at Villa Blanca Beach Club.
