Lake District Western 2-Bed Cabin Pet Friendly

Lovely quiet site, very well kept and not packed in like some caravan sites are. The van was bright, airy and clean and was ideal for our stay.

It was a lovely caravan, very modern and very clean, on a lovely small site. It had everything we needed for our stay. The plot was nice and the parking was great.

The only negative is that the bedding and towels, although clearly they were clean, smelt of a cigarettes which was a bit off-putting, my daughter noticed it too. We were also disappointed that there was no bistro onsite even though it said so in the listing when we booked. The pub across the road was excellent and lovely staff so this helped, but it was a shame the food serving times were limited as it was the only place in the area to eat.

Well kept clean caravan park. The site assistant was very helpful particularly sorting out the boiler issues when we arrived.

Insufficient cups, bowls, crockery and cutlery for a family of 4 self catering. The oven was not fully functional and in need of maintenance, question marks over it's safety. First day we had no hot water/heating and the communication was difficult to get it fixed.
