Meadow Terrace

Meadow Terrace is in a great location in Shrewsbury. A parking space is available for the duration of the stay. The beds were very comfortable. It is an old house on 3 levels, so quite a few stairs, but with plenty of room for the 2 of us. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was our second time here.

The house is quirky but endearing; it's centrally located, near both bus and train stations, and all Shrewsbury's attractions are in walking distance. It's well-equipped and pleasantly furnished and decorated. The user guide prepared by the owner is detailed and clear. All in all, we'd very likely come again.

By the morning we were to set off, Booking.com still hadn't sent the email giving the keysafe code etc, but had sent a repeat of the confirmation email instead. This resulted in my being angry with the owner, whose fault I mistakenly took it to be.

Great location, central Shrewsbury. The accommodation meet our needs and was warm.

Fiddly instructions slightly patronising tone to cover up less than perfect facilities. Radiators pre determined to only give lukewarm heat and no heat in ground floor entrance so bottom room chilly.

It was a quirky cottage over 3 floors. Location excellent , very central for everything

It was right opposite the bus station, with buses starting at 5.30 in tthe morning. This info wasnt given until the booking was confirmed. However we did get used to the noise after the first 2 nights and the location outweighed the noise

The location is very good, an easy walk into town, a good tip is to use the entrance to the shopping centre (lift). We felt safe and comfortable. We were very pleased the bus station was out of action, it would have been quite noisy had it not been temporarily closed. Good for parking and close to pubs. Dog friendly, warm, met all our needs.

Beige carpets, there were quite a few marks. Bathroom floor is exceptionally creaky, we were warned prior, but this really wants sorting out.
