The upper floors were accessible by a steep and narrow stairs , not good for people with mobility or size issues.

Advertised as free parking but the pass had unfortunately expired during our visit.

The house is absolutely beautiful. Each room has its own personality. Very clean and neat property and we loved the personal touch of a welcome message on the chalk board. The bed was so comfy and I love how there are locks on the inside of the door so I can lock it for extra security. I love how there is a pool table and darts board in the cellar which would certainly come in handy if you had children stay to keep them occupied. Communication from the host was smooth start to finish. Overall, the experience was lovely as it was so clean, organised and every room was decorated beautifully. Having a chronic illness, I love the fact the property is very close to the town. I'd definitely stay here again and I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean,tidy & a beautifully decorated place to stay!

The House has everything you need - excellent location just 5 minutes walk to the theatre. Amazing bathrooms (the swan taps :) ) and comfy beds. Well appointed kitchen. The owner kept us fully informed prior to the visit and left a friendly personal message on the chalk board in the kitchen. We used it for an overnight stay after a night at the theatre and for this purpose the property was excellent. We were three friends who all had their own room - worked out cheaper than each having a hotel room with the added bonus of having a living room where we could chat after the show.

It's an old building and as a result smells a bit damp in places. The rugs and the stair carpets have seen better days and the old stairs are VERY steep and a challenge to navigate. The free parking was not available for our stay.

Not the host’s fault but the parking situation had changed so we had to park and pay a little distance away.

Really nice property and very clean very period but was quite cold. Would love to stay when warmer in the summer months

Thermostat in the living room so if you had the fire on expect cold throughout the house. Heating in the third floor non-existent really. Lovely place just maybe not in Feb. No free parking but that didn’t worry us. Would be nice to advertise without as it seems since Nov last year it’s not been a thing but only £20 and 5 minutes away
