Sunny Motel Port Elgin

Location was good. Restaurant on site looked good but we didn’t try it.

They advertise a 2 bedroom but it isn’t truly a 2 bedroom. One “bedroom” has a curtain as a wall. The other bedroom has the front door and access to the bathroom. TV didn’t work. Internet was very weak.

We were in the room for a total of 9 hours, almost all while sleeping. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable.

Hard to move around the bed as the room was so small.

The door lock was gate type lock, the bed didn't match the picture, no garbage can no TV till 930 pm when a woman showed up to install it, outlets were tapped over,

This was the worst place I have ever stayed at in my life. There was no toilet paper The toilet seat was falling off. They never came to the room to get the garbage. The comforter on the bed was dirty. The knob on the shower fell off and had to run the water a long time to get hot water then I couldn't get it warm. The window wouldn't lock anyone could have broken in to the room. I would NOT recommend anyone to stay there not even a dog. The room is very small with a tiny table and two uncomfortable chairs to sit on if you wanted to watch TV. It was the room from HELL!!!

Honestly there was Nothing about the room that I liked. If I could have gotten out and Cancelled I would have done immediately. It reminded me of something from the 50"s . I got out of the room as much as possible and drove around in my car. Would have been better to stay and sleep in my car.

The property is in very poor condition. We found a dead rat on the stairs. The door could not be locked, the room smells.
