Quaint Carmel - Bungalow Close to Beach

was really nice get away for me and my spouse we arrived late the first night and the fire alarm battery was low we contacted them and they responded immediately which was really nice considering how late it was. i just felt awkward walking beside the main house because i think we scared the people staying in there since it was so late and they had all of the blinds open

Overall condition of the place was good, just a bit dated. There is no AC and the heater was constantly on and couldn’t turn it off. Only source of fresh air was to slightly open the windows but then you lose your privacy. The internet was not very good as most the streaming services lagged. Overall confort of the bed was ok but the pillows were bad so we went and bought some. The area is nice and quiet. Restaurants are about a 7min drive, but probably wouldnt recommend walking to them as the roads are small and no sidewalks. It’s definitely a nice place to stay for the price and location. I think the AC portion is the biggest thing on a hot day.
