There was no tv, but it was cozy. The toilet ran all night had to turn the water to it off for it to stop. Very small room.

It is located across the street from Lake Mono. It is charming with it's different cabins and rooms. I loved my stay there.

"Not a pleasant experience "

2.0

We were scheduled to travel across Tioga Pass to Yosemite, and the road suddenly was closed due to suspected snow flurries. To get to Yosemite on the northern route was another 5.5 hour drive. So looking quickly at the last review of the Tioga Lodge (very positive), I drove out of Lee Vining 2 or 3 miles north. When I spoke with the manager, Gladys, she told me the room would be $199 plus a $25 pet fee. I was surprised by that price, as the cabins looked small from the outside. Gladys said she would lower the price to $179, and I agreed. When I returned home 5 days later I saw my credit card had been charged $227. We stayed in room 10, which was one of the smallest and most spartan rooms I have ever stayed in. There is nothing in the immediate area to do, there is no TV, phone internet coverage is poor, and their Wi Fi was weak. I closed both windows and ran a small fan we brought along, but I could hear large trucks zooming by all night. As for the sunrise, I was up at that hour and witnessed no colors. Big, expensive disappointment in every way.

The room was tiny. The bathroom was super small. The toilet was located so close to the wall that I had to sit sideways on it to use it. Tons of windows really let all of the insanely loud noise from the highway come in easily. I saw ear plugs on the counter and didn’t understand until it was time to try to sleep. Even with earplugs I didn’t sleep a wink. This place is PATHETIC!

Rustic property overlooking the lake but a very busy road passes in front of you before the lake. Very expensive for the lack of facilities. Staff pleasant.

"Cold! Heater didn't work."

Very Cold! The heater didn't work, though the staff tried. The restaurant was closed. The location and room is nice, but very small. Highway traffic didn't bother me. Had trouble getting my luggage up stones and grass.

The room wasn’t as described. For example, there was just a tub, not a tub over shower as described. There could be pathways between the parking and cottage entrance.

"Worst entry, best view"

8.0

We arrived at night. It is very, very dark around the hotel. The party lights weren't much help finding where one enters. 395, while a beautiful highway, is the main route for the Eastern Sierra. Big semis hurl down it's two lanes. Once we were able to find the entrance, we had to phone the clerk/manager? This is an old establishment. Not easily accessible to anyone with mobility issues. The step to our concrete patio was badly tilted, slippery when icy. The floors are ceramic tile, hard and cold. Our room had beautiful old windows and the view of Mono lake is spectacular. The restaurant was closed so you'd need to drive a few miles into town to get something. Fortunately they provide a microwave (old and struggling) and a fridge

Convenient, lovely grounds, huge bathtub that would drain Mono Lake to fill. Really comfortable beds. A little traffic noise but chills out at night.

Advertised with WIFI in each room. All cabins have no access to WIFI, which is only available in the office area, Many guests sat around there in cold wind just to get connection, The kitchen was not open. The office has people in case you need any supplies.
