La vue sur la plage de Sidi Bous Said et l'emplacement sont top . Je recommendé l'emplacement seulement pour des shootings de mariage ou autre en été .

Nous avons séjourné dans La demeure pour notre nuit de noces et avons été déçus par la qualité du service. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons commandé un couscous et des tagliatelles pour le diner . Dans le couscous, nous avons trouvé un morceau de cellophane, probablement lié à la congélation de la viande d'après le personnel. Les tagliatelles étaient à peine cuites et peu savoureuses. Nous avons payé 100 dinars pour ces deux plats, ce qui ne les justifiait pas. Le petit déjeuner inclus manquait de variété et de qualité : pas de buffet, chocolatine surgelée, salade de fruits peu fraîche, aucune touche tunisienne authentique. Cela ne correspond pas au standing d’une maison d'hôte de luxe. Le lendemain, un paquet de pâtisseries dans notre chambre était infesté de fourmis. La réception a nettoyé avec un produit à forte odeur et mis du parfum d’ambiance, mais ne nous a même pas proposé de changer de chambre. Enfin, la piscine n’était pas très propre, avec de la poussière au fond. On s'attendait à une explication , à une geste commerciale , mais rien de tout cela .

La vue depuis la suite ainsi que depuis la terrasse est exceptionnelle. La chambre était spacieuse mais le mobilier est plutôt vieillissant.

Thier care, along with the efforts of the entire team, created a seamless and personalized experience. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we felt like part of the La Demeure family. The suites were nothing short of incredible — beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail, from the linens to the lighting, exuded calm and style. The poolside views of the ocean were absolutely breathtaking — the perfect backdrop for relaxation, sunrise coffees, or evening cocktails. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause, breathe, and truly soak in the moment. And let’s not forget the menu — every meal was a highlight, crafted with care and creativity. Compliments to the brilliant chef whose dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a luxurious retreat with the soul of a home, La Demeure is it.

The privacy and limited number of suites on the property

This is a small, beautiful hotel with perfect views. Its location, within a 5 minute walk to restaurants and all shops in Sidi Bou Said is fantastic. The breakfast was awesome, lots of selections and great food. The staff were very pleasant especially Jaber at reception who was always available and super helpful. The hotel owner (didn’t get his name) personally drove us to get a taxi in town so we would get to the airport on time for our flight. We can’t thank him enough for his kindness. We highly recommend this hotel if you plan on visiting Sidi Bou Said for its location, service, charm and attention to detail. Sandra and Alexander - Canada

Taxis in Tunis do not use gps so they may try to drop you off near (but not at your location). Get a SIM card with google maps to always know where you are at and communicate this to your taxi driver to ensure you arrive at your hotel (site).
