Upper Buckton B&B

Beautiful period property set in a stunning countryside location. Generous sized bedroom with fully equipped en-suite. Countryside views from the bedroom window. Johnathan and Mary were the perfect hosts, incredibly kind and knowledgeable on the local area. Breakfast on the outside terrace was a real treat, obviously weather dependant. If you love stunning countryside views, being surrounded by nature, peace & quiet, spacious comfy bedroom then you wont be disappointed with this B&B. We would definitely return and have recommended to our family and friends.

Charming Georgian country house with a gorgeous garden and lovely antique furniture throughout. The photos don't do it justice. Easy access to Ludlow and the lovely Shropshire Hills AONB. Superb breakfast. We will be back!

Upper Buckton is a beautiful house in peaceful rural surroundings - wonderfully quiet. Lovely spacious room and bathroom - beautifully appointed and the bed was so comfortable. Excellent breakfasts and Jonathan and Mary are charming and welcoming hosts.

The breakfast was excellent, the view from the front of the property was outstanding, and the bathroom was a luxury.

We like it just as it is.

Johnathan and Mary made sure we had everything we needed. Amazing breakfast laid in a beautiful old dining room. Incredibly comfortable bed and big investment in top quality bedding. We had an en suite room which had stunning views.So peaceful!! A lovely, characterful house and attentive hosts.

Stunning location, but had to drive to a pub/restaurant. No lock on the bedroom door when going out ( just a hook from the inside). This is fine if you have nothing of great value with you and I'm sure we just live in a paranoid world. Nice to go back to trusting old country ways.

We had a great, comfortable and authentic B&B experience here. Although we were only her for one night, Jonathan, our host, made use feel extremely welcome and showed an authentic interest in us as guests. The rooms were exquisite and the Georgian country house provides an ideal setting for peace and relaxation. The breakfast was served in a very nice dining room and our host - once again - provided us with good food and a good conversation.
