The Sagaponack

Property is a very upscale motel. Very clean and modern, spacious rooms and cute snack/coffee area with free soft drinks etc. Sofa bed was spacious and very comfortable, easily best one I’ve seen. Overall great option affordable stay in the actual Hamptons, location can’t be beat, especially at the price point.

We expected more in terms of housekeeping for the expensive rate. Day #1 there was no housekeeping even though we were out in f the room all day. We asked for more towels however they never came. Day#2 housekeeping came at 3 PM even though we were out of the room all day. For the cost, I expected housekeeping every day and turn down service. The “unlimited” snack amounted to potato chips, apples and soda. Breakfast was cereal and small pastries. There was also yogurt. The $30 extra per day seemed excessive. Staff was less than friendly. One positive was that the pool was open even though it was late September. The studio king was as it appeared on the website and the inn was convenient to our event. I would not stay here again unless there were no other options due to price/value proposition.

I don't know why this happened, but when I arrived at the hotel, we were asked to pay $35 for Property tax.I thought that I had paid for everything when I purchased it on the website, but it turned out that was not the case.At the reception they told us that the expedition had underpaid them by $35.

Such a cute, quaint and homey stay! We loved the pool on property and the galleys. The Sagaponack is the perfect romantic getaway for two!

It was good, not worth $1K per night

I never wrote negative reviews but I think this one deserves it. We spent over $700/nt for a glorified motel. The staff was fine, not good or bad. But the room was awful (unless the other option is motel 6). Price is offensive for the product. There were bugs on our bed and a window unit ac that barely worked. Would not recommend.

Honestly, nothing negative to write about absolutely perfect, convenient, and clean!!! Worth it

The keys didn’t work , the coffee machine didn’t work. Poor service. Didn’t offer a discount

Nice place, but no gym, no bar/restaurant, and you can hear your neighbors behind the wall.... Enjoyed the pool as it was empty :)

I've seen better amenities at a courtyard inn. The refrigerator is a normal sized hotel fridge on the outside, but inside it is tiny, only about 4-5 inches deep. The 'Galley' is cute but I promise you will be disappointed when you actually use it. A single espresso machine that was jammed two out of the three days I stayed. A little bit of hard candy, sodas, and sugary yoghurt. No water anywhere on the premises (save tap, of course). Thank god the Starbucks a few miles away opens at 5. They say they have beach passes but not enough. Every day I asked for one they were out. Oh, and I needed a proper iron. They have a steamer which is fine if you have a couple of wrinkles from the suitcase, but I threw a couple of linen shirts in my bag right out of the wash and the steamer wasn't going to cut it. The room is cute and the pool is serviceable, but I'd have been disappointed at half the price.
