The Sagaponack

Cute spot close to Sag and Wolfer Esate.

We recently stayed at the Sagaponack. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. Oscar, the young man that assisted us with media issues was very willing to help us and quite patient. On the other hand, Sara Dubow, the general manager was rude, dismissive and condescending. This type of attitude doesn’t encourage a future stay at this establishment.

I chose this reservation because it had the “skip the counter” guarantee. I filled out all the paperwork but when I arrived there was no skipping and a very LONG line. Get like this was complete faulty advertising.

The Sagaponack was very nice. Our room was large enough for two people with a king-size bed, small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and a decent counter space with a sink. The bathroom was on the smaller size but the shower was extra roomy. The Manager, Sarah, was very helpful. She gave us many good suggestions for places to visit, restaurants, etc.

This hotel is the GEM of the Hamptons. I love that it was only a few minutes drive to the ocean and Wolfer estate vineyard. Going to dinner in Sag harbor was easy only a ten minute drive. The bungalows are absolutely beautiful. The dogs had a blast. Such a beautiful place to spend time with your pets. The staff Sara and Oscar could not have been more amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was wonderful. We will be back!!

I can't speak highly enough about the team at Sagaponak, Oscar and Sara we're absolutely amazing at providing us with all the accommodations that we needed for late check-in to booking As for the bungalows we stayed in they were probably the best rooms I've ever stayed in in the Hamptons! The quality and attention to detail in the rooms is spectacular, it's easy to park in front unload and also jump in the car for a quick trip to the local restaurants and or the beach! I must say this is the best hotel resort that you could stay at with your pet! It is so extremely easy to get the dogs outside and go for a walk in the back trails as if you are on a trail hike walk. Can you imagine they allowed us to stay with none of our dogs. As I said, this is probably the best experience I've ever had in the Hamptons, whether it be the staff amenities or they're understanding of pets being another child in the family.

Loved the sound machine in the room, what a nice touch!! Also loved the bagged ice available in the breakfast/coffee area - so convenient!!

Had a little trouble navigating the heat/AC systems during a "between seasons" stay.
