Very homely and great decor! Spotless and spacious. The breakfast in the morning was very very tasty and cooked to perfection.

The good parts were overshadowed by the bad parts

My parents arrived and our room was 9.5 degrees celciuis. It took for my 90 year old dad with heart problems to become very angry before the staff considered to do something about it. My dad called me in distress and passed me on to a team member who simply said she couldn't do anymore and hung up on me. I contacted the manager the following week and wrote and email and she didn't even bother to get back to me.

Fantastic value for money. Lovely pub, nice accommodation and welcoming staff. Perfect location for the Old Kent Barn wedding venue down the road!

The warm welcome; the friendly staff; the location not far from the ferry port; the dinner enjoyed in the cosy pub; and the very comfortable room. As we left early, we did not have breakfast but they gave us a substantial picnic bag to take with us.
