Monica was an exceptional hostess, the apartment was everything we could have wished for with every detail being carefully thought out and presented. The location is just beautiful with the river right in front of the home and the sound of the river over the rapids was so nurturing.......this stay was just wonderful. My friend so enjoyed the cleanliness and presentation of the hot tub and the turkish bath. This is a must when looking for an excellent option for accommodation. The restaurant "Elvira"which is located just minutes from the apartment is a Michelin star worthy restaurant and was suggested by Monica - we so enjoyed our experience there. Another must while you are in Braga! We will be back!!!!!

Nothing could have been better. We had a first class experience at this apartment - in fact the best home we stayed in while doing a road trip from the Douro Valley to the coast of Spain and back to Obidos.

The location was beyond compare - the view and sounds of the river, the quiet, the responsiveness of the host. The rooms were spotless and everything was up-to-date. We cooked several times. What a find.

Beautiful setting by the river, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean with plenty of good quality linens. Excellent shower pressure, plenty of hot water. Kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. The owner was very friendly and helpful as were all the staff on site.

The drive into the property was quite narrow, but we had been warned and there was parking at the entrance to the road if you didn't want to chance it. If you turn your mirrors in and take it easy, it's okay - we were in and out over four days without a problem so it's not a real negative.

The location on the Cávado river is magical. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly and were able to arrange the use of the kayak on short notice. The kitchen and living room areas are spacious and well equipped.

Beautifully renovated house, located in a picturesque setting next to the river and the park. Great for nature lovers. The spa is a nice bonus, which you can reserve in advance just for yourself. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Will come back!
