The house unfortunately leaves much to be desired. We booked four nights in March for four adults and one child, and as soon as we arrived, we noticed that the house was very cold. This was especially problematic because we were travelling with a small child, and the weather outside was rainy and cold throughout the day. We tried to contact the agency by phone, but without success. However, they did respond by email and sent the owner to inspect the situation. He arrived after about two hours, and it turned out that the heating system was not working at all on the ground floor, although it did work on the upper floor. Why the heating had not at least been turned on upstairs before our arrival remains a mystery. The owner provided us with a small heater, which was frankly inadequate, as it could not - and did not - help in any meaningful way. He then openly told us that the problem would not be solved during our stay because it was impossible to fix within four days. Strangely, he seemed more concerned about whether we would use the pool, since it was not included in the price. This felt bizarre, as we clearly had no intention of using it during rainy and relatively cold weather. We received no apology, no follow-up, and no request for feedback from either the owner or the agency, which we found rather unprofessional. Later, when browsing through older reviews, we noticed that another guest had reported the same heating problem many months earlier. This means that they were already aware of the issue but had apparently done nothing to resolve it. Moreover, the house is, to say the least, rather rough around the edges. The coffee machine did not work, the kitchen was poorly equipped with utensils, the pool table and its equipment were old and worn, and some of the kitchen cupboards were broken. On the positive side, the house is in a good location for exploring the island and has a very nice layout.
