From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by an incredibly warm and welcoming team. Phil, Mornette, Holly, Ross, along with the rest of their staff have a true talent for making guests feel right at home — nothing is ever too much trouble, and they genuinely go out of their way to make your stay special. We had a small medical emergency that the staff were aware of, stayed connected to the health changes, and ultimately organized a physician to attend to us AT the lodge for an incredibly fair price. Absolutely unheard of with most places. We were so well cared for throughout our stay; literally from the minute we arrived to when we departed. The lodge itself is an absolute treat. Think stunning accommodation, beautifully kept grounds full of lush greenery, and peaceful spots to sit, relax, or chat with fellow travelers. The outdoor dining and lounge areas are a particular highlight — perfect for soaking up the surroundings. Breakfast is generous and excellent. Well worth including when booking. The small bites menu and dinner options make staying at Pamarah effortless. Booking activities around the falls through the hotel is such an asset. The Pamarah team has well established relationships with the local guides with everything clearly well-organized and stress-free. But above all else, it's the people that leave a lasting impression. The staff and family are genuinely passionate about what they do, love sharing their Pamarah story, and take real pride in making every guest's experience unforgettable. Thank you so much for creating such a memorable experience for our first visit to Africa! I don't believe it can be topped for what we experienced.
