The 1890 Freeman House

Beautiful old home in a great location close to the Strand and The Grand and good restaurants. Loved the rockers on the front porch and the kitchen and sitting room. The only drawback was the bathroom for the Fredericksburg room was tiny.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was very clean and comfortable, with great AC that made it extra relaxing. The staff was accommodating and created a friendly, welcoming environment that made us feel right at home. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience in a convenient location. Super cute - would stay again!

The house and room were beautiful, clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the host was super responsive, hope to go back!

Beautiful, large, and quiet house with plenty of amenities. Easy check-in and check-out, and responsive hosts.

We discovered The Art district with restaurants and live music was only a .2 of a mile walk from the house. Another perk was sitting outside on the upstairs sun porch!

Beautiful historic home in Galveston turned into a hotel with 6 rooms. We stayed in the Paris room for 4 nights. It was close enough to walk to shopping and restaurants on the Strand and the pier. Short drive or trolley ride to the Seawall. The house is filled with antiques and on a very quiet street. We absolutely loved our trip.

Charme et cachet d'une belle demeure ancienne. Quartier pittoresque de la line. Possibilité de stationner dans la rue avec une carte de stationnement fournie par l'hôte. Réactivité et sérieux de Shannon, mais à distance. Thé et café à disposition. Salon du rez-de-chaussée agréable.

Absence de présence physique dans la maison en dehors des femmes de ménage. Quiproquos sur le ménage le 2ème jour. Salle de bain petire, tout comme la douche. Lit trop petit.
