Amazing veiw, very clean rooms very classy and lovely staff. We hired the whole hotel for my wedding and our guests done nothing but compliment. Even the breakfast was filling and great presentation.

Asked to change the room as we were staying two nights. For a better view out of the front. But we were told we couldn't, quite a few arrivals came later. And most only stayed for the night???

Local to get to Pickering Grosmont and Goathland also worth a trip to Saltburn on sea … property lovely and comfortable with views over lake ..

It’s a soles please on were to eat a meal at night we would have liked to have a meal in the evening but we had to go out and eat somewhere else very disappointing

Very clean and had obviously spent a lot doing it up. The young guy who was there when we arrived was vey pleasant but young and nervous.

Informed 2 hours before we arrived there was no food offer. Based on other reviews they do this a lot. No one on site overnight and just a couple of other people staying, so remote, unmanned and no food. Very different to the impression that the many 10”reviews” would indicate. No healthy breakfast offer( no fruit or porridge) just cooked/ fried breakfast. Service was shockingly basic at breakfast. It’s utterly soulless.

Excellent hotel for stop over good food and very clean.

The fan in the bathroom stayed on to long apart from that nothing
