Very nice garden, very nice Japanese bath.

Location was not very practical (6-8 minutes walk to get to the nearest metro station or bus stops; but once you get to the bus or metro, it is fine as the neighborhood is relatively central). No restaurant in the vicinity. There was some bad smell in the house (not sure why, other reviews didn't mention that).

Beautiful, well-maintained, and clean. Bath room was lovely. Great space for our family of 4.

Check-in was confusing. I received so many emails about the process, but when we actually arrived, i didn’t realize I needed to call to receive the code to enter the house. Once we had the code and could open the door, all was good.

This property is about 12 minutes walk to the nearest train station. Well maintained, very clean, very spacious. It’s only inconvenience was that the bathroom was downstairs. Guests should carefully read the instructions to the email for the door accessing code before arriving at the property. Recommended stay in Kyoto.

A great option for 4 friends - enough space for everyone and a very cute garden.

I couldn't leave the luggage before and after arrival, that was not very convenient. I would suggest the property to add directions to the places where guests can leave the luggage in the manual with the rules they send.

Property was very well furnished and an easy 10min walk to public transit. Being that it shared walls with other buildings I was concerned about how much noise was okay to make.

I received the room key code email in Japanese which I don’t understand. Called the reservation phone number and no answering. Sent email to the customer support and didn’t get right answer. Desperately I went to the hotel address on Google and found it’s a wrong address. We were walking around the cold Kyoto street with luggage for one hour. Finally we used Google Translate to get the room key code from the Japanese email. Another complaint is the bathroom has no window curtain. I wonder the neighbors could see us in the bathroom.
