Beautiful 1 bed Glamping pod in Battle

The location and setting was perfect. I would really recommend staying.

Everything! Location, comfort, facilities! The design and care is amazing. Loved how quiet it was and how private. A perfect place to destress and relax.

My dog kept running off? Nothing really!

Sadly weather not on our side and therefore felt a cover over the veranda would have been nice

It was a beautiful Glamping pod. The setting was fantastic and peaceful, within meters of woodland walks. The way the pod had been positioned alongside the other tents had been well thought out, given maximum privacy.

The composting toilet takes a little while getting used to.

Location was amazing, forests and fields around us, beautiful place. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We could sit on the terrace with a cuppa in the morning and by the fire in the evenings. There was a BBQ so that's what we used for our dinners. There was also a medium size wooden dog bed inside which was a nice surprise. Enough space to store everything we brought and enough utensils etc to use. The pictures provided online is exactly how the cabin looks like, good size, clean with nice wooden/rustic decor. Near by were places to visit and walk about, little steam or long pond like thing (unsure), places to sit and relax, funky wooden features everywhere, lovely place for walks and relaxing. I would definitely recommend and would go back again.

Another large glamping camp was opposite which we didn't know about, not next door but close enough to take away some of the privacy and once people arrived next day it got a bit busy, not that there was any bad behaviour but just standard laughing and playing about but we just didn't expect that. That 'took away' from the peaceful and remote experience. There was a cabin behind as well but we didn't mind as all blocked by dense bushes and a mound. If the same method was used to 'divide' the area between the cabin and the large glamping site it would help with privacy and the feeling of the area. If you're tall be mindful of the bed size, I was fine but my husband couldn't sleep well as he was touching the wall with his feet. It was wide enough to sleep 2.

A beautiful, peaceful, get away from it all location. A very comfortable and cosy shepherds hut, in open fields next to a woodland. The only things that disturbed the peace were the birds singing in the early mornings and the owl hoots at night.

Location was incredible - ancient forest, 1066 trail, multiple trails all within walking distance. Beautifully crafted information book that gave us all the answers we needed. Supplied more than enough firewood for one big outdoors fire for around 4 hours.

Nothing really - I didn’t expect other campers/properties to be close as they were but it still felt that everyone had their own space and we didn’t have any problems
