The private room had a bit of a smell to it. Paper thin walls as well, no decor or windows

From all the hostels I have ever stayed in the world (and I have traveled a lot): My favourite hostel so far. Loved the pods - you had 100% privacy and they slid open so quietly that you could barely hear your roommates leaving or going to bed. Loved that you use your key card to unlock the locker - no pad lock needed and they were for once big enough to fit my 80l backpack. That way, the room always looked super clean since people were able to stow big bags away and it also always smelled nice in there. Facilities were always very clean, bathrooms look super nice and fancy and there were a lot of great books to exchange in the common area. Just wishes there were more social events, then it would have been perfect :)
