The building is 500 hundred years old . You are staying in a piece of history . Do not expect all mod cons and standard type rooms . The house is built around a central court yard . The windows over look this , all are extremely different and window sizes also differ . The house was built to withstand the heat and protect those living there . You could not ask for more delightful staff , who go way beyond to make your stay unforgettable . Hear , personally we ate the finest breakfast we have ever eaten in our lives each morning . The Anatolian breakfast was a gastronomic delight . The location in the old part of the city is also excellent . Easily accessible by car and you can walk and visit all the sights and museums . This is an extraordinary and wonderful place that we look forward to returning to.

The hot water was set to a threshold which is not okay. We ran out of hot water when we were showering.

Otel balıklıgöle yürüme 10 dk mesafede. Eski bir yerleşim bölgesinde olduğundan özellikle daha önce doğu illerinde yaşamadıysanız garip gelebilir ancak korkmayınız; Urfa merkez zaten böyle bir yer. Biz güvenlik açısından hiçbir kötü durumla karşılaşmadık. Aksine halk ve esnaf güleryüzlü idi. Bölgede doğalgaz hattı yok ısınma klima ile mümkün oluyor, bu sebeple kış aylarında gidecek misafirlere (biz Ocak ayında gittik ) önerim biraz sıkı giyinmeleri çünkü oda hemen ısınmıyor. Odada el dokuması nevresimler, yün yorgan ve yastıklar var yani uyurken kesinlikle üşümezsiniz. Otel, geleneksel urfa evlerini yansıtan bir mimaride, biz özellikle o sebeple burada kalmak istedik ve beklentimizi karşıladı. Bahçesindeki limon ağacıncaki yaramaz kuşların seslerine bayıldık. Otelin sahipleri ve tüm çalışanlar oldukça güleryüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Kahvaltıda yöresel lezzetler var ben özellikler siverek peyniri ve kırma yeşil zeytini beğendim. Temizlikle ilgili tek olumsuz yorumum, duş biraz daha temiz olmalıydı. Başka bir olumsuzluk görmedik. Keyifli bir tatil geçirdik , teşekkür ediyoruz.

The location of this hotel is perfect for those wishing to visit the Balikligol area as it is situated in the old town maybe 150 meters from the Balikligol area. The hotel itself is a renovated old (I think) Armenian house with an inner courtyard where you have your breakfast (a generous one at that). I got one of the larger rooms with the jacuzzi in it, which was great to relax in after a long day sight-seeing.

They are still working to complete a large kitchen and restaurant on the first floor above the entrance area. I think this will be great as guests will be able to have their lunch and dinner at the hotel. We went out for dinner at night and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Beautiful property and really welcoming hosts. We felt at home immediately. Thank you! Delicious breakfast as well! Great location, safe and easy to walk to see the sights.

Urfa ilini ve çevresini gezmek amacıyla planladığımız gezide kalacak yer arayışımızda otantik yapısı ile tercih ettiğimiz Astarte otel; Balıklı göl çarşı merkez e yakınlığı, çalışanların samimi karşılaması, temizlik, hijyen açısından mükemmele yakınlığı ile bizleri gayet memnun etmiştir. özellikle kahvaltı çeşitliliği ve gösterilen önem çok güzeldi. Gündüzleri Göbekli tepe, Halfeti v.b gezerken akşam arabamızı otel önüne parkedip balıklı göl, çarşıyı gezip sıra gecelerine katılabilirsiniz. teşekkürler ASTARTE...

Beautiful property conveniently located in the middle of Urfa’s old town, near the necropolis, the pool of Abraham, the castle, and the bazaar. The staff were super nice and always offered us tea, and the breakfast was delicious and abundant.

Harika bir otel. Odası otantik ve güzel tasarlanmış. Yorganları yastıkları çok rahat. Kahvaltısı çok güzel. Otelin içerisi konak gibi. Tek zayıf noktası kendine ait park yeri olmaması ama yol boyunca sıkıntı yaşamadık. Tekrar Urfa ya gelsek yine orada kalırız.
