A little farther to Isle of Skye than would have been ideal.

Die Lage ist recht nett, gegenüber von Skye, nahe an der Fähre.

Eigentlich ist das Zimmer nett eingerichtet, die Ausstattung neu. Der ist Ausblick schön und man ist nahe am Wasser. Das stimmt alles. Die Gastgeberin ist auch sehr nett und bemüht. Für uns war jedoch nicht stimmig, dass man ein riesiges Fenster zur Seeseite hat, aber um eine gewisse Intimität zu waren, alle Vorhänge schließen muss. Die Nachbarn von nebenan können einen sonst im Bett liegen sehen. Man kann auch kein Fenster offen lassen, es sei denn, man ist vielleicht gar nicht ängstlich nachts. Wäre das anders gemacht, wäre die Lage sicher sehr schön und unsere Bewertung besser. Zu schade, dass man nicht mit Blick auf das Meer aufwachen kann sondern mit Blick auf den Vorhang. Das Frühstück war ok, aber abgepackt zum selbst zubereiten. Das war nicht so unser Ding vor allem in einem b&b nicht. Aber vielleicht war da unsere Erwartung falsch. Noch eine Warnung: die Fähre fährt nicht immer zB nicht bei starkem Wind. Da sollte man auf der Homepage nachschauen. Der Weg nach Skye ist dann auch möglich aber doch sehr weit.

Wonderful little space with everything you need. The host was very friendly and accommodating, the continental breakfast was perfect for us and the location was spot on with a great view. Dinner next door at the Inn was very good and the atmosphere was fun! Makes for wonderful memories. Tha KS for sharing your spot with us.

Beautiful design and wonderful location

My favorite spot from our entire 3 week trip. I think it may get some hate for being quite a bit out of the way from anything but we loved the quiet, cozy town. It was so peaceful and beautiful here, we were actually bummed we couldn’t stay longer. The view is amazing and the inn next door matched the atmosphere perfectly. The owner came over and talked to us and they were so extremely kind. If I lived anywhere near here, I would come back anytime I needed to get away!

Take the advice and make a reservation at the restaurant/inn. They were able to squeeze us in but you may not be so lucky.
