Yuzawa Hotel

チェックイン時、ロビーの電気が着いていない。 壁掛け暖房器具が壊れていて暖気が出ない（説明なし。小さい石油ストーブはあった） 部屋風呂は元々あったようだが、取手が外され使用できない。

Easy place to stay. Enjoyed the quiet rooms with great outlook.

The outdoor onsen was nice, but it looks nothing like the picture.

The room we reserved was not the room we were assigned. Our room was smaller and missing an additional living room. We were not refunded the difference despite sending a message to the hotel and booking.com. booking.com has still not responded to our message about this.

No lifts, have to drag luggages up to room. The Japanese owner should live up to the Japanese’s responsibility and offer us a rebate because there wasn’t any prior warning the outdoor Onsen isn’t working. WE DID NOT GET OUR MONEY’s WORTH!!!!!

Decent location near restaurants and ski areas.

Cold room with broken heaters, old facilities with holes in walls, missing curtains, poor WiFi, no room cleaning between days stayed, and the outdoor onsen advertised in the photos was “out of order.”

Location was very good, not far from the train station or restaurants and in the township. Private Onsen was a great experience, even though it was outside and we went at night in winter! The rooms were spacious and yakatas were a nice traditional touch. Staff were lovely and helpful. Toilet and vanity in the room was good. Note: Shared bathroom facilities means bathing in the public onsen with other people not separately.

The futons were quite hard, even with 2 futons, we found it uncomfortable to sleep but we are not used to sleeping on the floor. We found it was an interesting experience.
