The accommodation we had initially arranged had double booked our room, so we needed somewhere to stay on short notice for two nights. Reasonable location near lake Garda. You can just about see a small part of the lake through the trees from one part of the balcony. There is a communal pool which is quite nice.

This place is very expensive for the quality of accommodation provided (€350 for two nights). The furniture and fittings are somewhat tired, and the bathroom and kitchen have not been updated in several decades - this is okay, but not really at a premium price. In the kitchen a number of basic things were not provided, for example washing up liquid or cleaning brushes, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, tea towels. The instructions for getting in were not great. A video is pretty annoying when a simple map and 3/4 bullet points would do. There are no instructions for how to leave the property, as there is a locked gate that you can apparently only open from the outside (we had to jump the gate to punch in the code to open it). This could be a nice property if the owner spent €5k upgrading and modernising. Or would be fair if they charged €75 a night. But at €175 a night this is not worth booking.
