Calm Sea Guesthouse

We had a lovely long weekend stay at Calm Sea Guest house! Highlights: comfortable beds, entire guest house is very clean has been newly renovated, excellent breakfast (including cooked and cold options), and travel cot available. Super friendly, helpful, and attentive hosts Mel & Trish. Location is very convenient to the train station, tourist buses, beach, and all sorts of restaurants. Very reasonably priced for the area. Thanks for a very nice weekend Trish & Mel - we wish you all the best with this new venture :)

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the owner who even helped us with our bags to our room! Very helpful with recommendations for places to visit in Weymouth including places to eat. You can see they've made a lot of effort in making the accommodation feel warm and friendly and it feels like a home away from home! Breakfast options were fantastic and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted, and the cooked breakfast was delicious! Patking not an issue for us as there were many places close by to park. Would definitely bring our family there again! Only being a 2 minute walk from the beach too is a huge plus!

Had the most wonderful stay, perfect hosts, friendly and helpful and amazing breakfasts. Room was immaculately clean, beds comfy and hot shower. Will most definitely be staying again.

Calm Sea Guesthouse was a lovely place to stay. We (2 adults and 2 kids, 7 and 4) stayed in the family room after booking a last minute night away. The whole place had been newly refurbished (2022) and was in beautiful condition throughout, with all new bedding (and beds, I dare say - they were super comfy). Breakfast was good - we had cooked breakfast, but there were plenty of other options. Mel (Mal?) and Trish were perfect hosts and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed (including sweets for the kids, which was a really nice touch), and were there ready to greet us even though we arrived a while before check-in time. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay fantastic guest house would recommend for sure the best guest house we have stayed in also get a free breakfast little tuck shop at entrance if you need drink late at night aswell for a small fee of 60-80 p Comfy beds big clean room only down side I couldn’t stay longer

Well Mel and Trish were just fantastic. Humbling to know they just started out in this business and have gone above and beyond to be the best. So knowledgable about the local area and extremely helpful in all aspects. Have great advise for dinners, directions and parking and are looking into more parking options to make the experience even easier. Called ahead about my sons milk intolerances and couldn’t do more to accommodate. Theo rooms seem brand new and to a great standard. Lovely extra touched like sweets for the little one on his bed on arrival and games to keep him amused. Lovely home cooked breakfast with choice on everything and decent produce! Thankyou for making our stay like a home away from home without the hassle :)

Excellent B&B! Excellent hospitality! Excellent location! Excellent breakfast! an all round excellent stay. We'll definitely be returning next year.

Really comfortable stay. Mel & Trish were great thoughtful hosts. Provided a permit for parking as no free street parking available. Great breakfast Great room. Would truly recommend staying here if your visiting Weymouth.
