I liked the hotel’s convenient location, ample parking with both a main and overflow car park, and the friendly, welcoming staff. The hotel was well maintained throughout, and the bar offered a pleasant atmosphere with reasonably priced drinks. My room was spacious, very clean, quiet despite it being a football night, and well equipped with amenities such as a hairdryer and kettle. Overall, for £62 booked through Booking.com, I felt the hotel offered excellent value for money and provided a comfortable stay.

There wasn’t much to dislike during my stay. The only minor issues were that the room had a faint fusty smell, although it wasn’t particularly strong or unpleasant, and the shower could have been better. The water pressure was fairly weak, and it was difficult to find a comfortable temperature as it tended to switch between too hot and too cold. Aside from these small points, everything else was very good.

The restaurant was in a lovely bright conservatory. Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly. Room large. Beautiful bathroom.

Directions on website didn't take us to hotel but we eventually found it. No blinds at the window. Sun streaming in through the curtains early in the morning.
