The location was very good within walking distance from everything like shops, restaurants, and different shops. Around the house at least 4 or 5 restaurants within couple of meters walk. If I return to Notdden I would book it again. Also a walking distance from the bus stop.

The wooden stairs were not easy if you have a 23 kilo bag to take to the apartment. If you are visiting the University of Eastern Norway, you need to be careful that the bus comes 1 time every hour. There were a few unwashed cuttlery in the dishwasher and clean bedsheets in the dryer.

Central location

Not two bedrooms as written. One bedroom with a double bed. The second so called bedroom was a storage room with a bed, separated from the living room only by curtains and partly a wall, without a door and a window. Here were also the cacuum cleaner and other cleaning items stored. Certain overflow in the shower and the sink in the bathroom was partly clogged. The fan in the kitchen was out of standards as neccessary filter was not in place, and quite greasy. Danger of fire! I can understand that there were quite big spots of whatever on the couch, as we cheked in after the very busy week with the blues festival in town. What I don't understand is that the host was unreachable on phone! I called to report we were not guilty for the spots, and also to ask to stay a night longer. No answer, no return call. Too bad. Check in with a key box is in general absolutely fine. But when there is no light at the entrance level of the buliding, it's not proffesional. Also, the key had no key chain, so if slipping it in the dark it could slip down one floor to god knows where. This, when it also was impossibel to reach the host by phone, is just too bad.

Lovely comfortable lounge suite..bed likewise. Excellent bathroom with washing machine and dryer round the corner. Kitchen good for cooking. Great place. Nice town.

Eating from a high shelf...but managed.

Nice central location. Big and better than hotel room.

spacious, warm, comfortable. a washing machine and drier are always a bonus.
