Pelican Cove Inn

Stayed in the Pacific room which was immaculate upon check-in. It’s huge with a fireplace, sofa, and super comfortable 4-poster bed. I slept like a baby on that dreamy mattress. The bathroom was also huge with a spa bathtub. Nice and quiet. I was in town for a memorial service, but this room would be perfect for a nice romantic getaway. If I were a regular visitor to Carlsbad, I would happily stay here over and over. Ran into the caretaker (I don’t remember his name) but he was very kind and offered to help carry a bag up the stairs. Very pleasant experience.

Nice, quiet and clean

Felt like home and the Deck was really great. The little Gas oven also helped a lot to feel comfortable as it cooled down in the evening in March.

Rooftop deck; large room with semi-private balcony; good shower; coffee, tea, granola bars provided in nice space.

We were in Santa Barbara room. Our bed was uncomfortable… should be replaced.

Loved the antiques, fireplace and general ambiance. Will definitely book again.
