GBThe property was absolutely stunning, it had everything you needed to feel home from home. The hosts were amazing, so helpful and gave great tips about visiting their country, we took them up on almost every recommendation they gave.
The stairs in the smaller apartment are a little steep.
GBMy family and I had the most incredible stay at Garifalia for two weeks. The property is beautiful, immaculate, well equipped, peaceful and spacious. We were able to make ourselves very at home even with our 7 month old baby in tow. The hosts made a number of additional provisions for our little one including toys, inflatables etc which made the trip even better. The villa is set in a beautiful location away from tourists but within reaching distance of many towns, we visited Chania, Rethymno, Vamos, Souda, Kalyves, Almyrida, Georgioupoli and everywhere in between. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and they were always super responsive to all our needs. Would absolutely recommend a stay here ☺️

ATWe had a wonderful stay with a group of friends in this super quiet village. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. The villa was even nicer than in the pictures. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience living in a small Greek village in comfort and in a well-equipped house.

GBLovely comfortable villa in a rural, quiet area surrounded by beautiful scenery. The hosts were really friendly and willing to help. Their little gestures really made us feel welcome. Everyone enjoyed the pool and sitting on the raised terrace. We found it a really wonderful location to explore Crete.
There was no real issue, but a little more storage might be helpful. Please note that roads in the area are pretty tight.
GBAnastasia met us on arrival to show us how everything worked. Lovely host, a warm welcome and gave us lots of advice for our first visit to Crete! Property is great, modern and beautifully decorated simple and unfussy. Very clean , well equipped as well as lovely and private. Not touristy, so you get a proper Cretan village experience. Great tavernas near by, so eating out is easy and fun.
GBYou are welcomed with huge hospitality from the hosts as soon as you arrive- you can really feel the love and care they have for your stay. The villa is perfect- home from home but with the added luxuries. You have everything you need for your relaxing stay. The bedrooms, living room, kitchen and outside pool has it all. Highly recommend for all types of travellers from families with kids to couples.

ALIt was a great place for family, located in one traditional Cretan village. The owners Anastasia and Stelios were friendly, helpful and recommended to us a lot of activities in the area. The house was great, clean and had all the facilities including pool and sauna :) The area was very quiet, perfect for full relaxation. I strongly recommend the place. If I go again to Crete, definitely I will go back there.
