Birchwood Pitlochry

L'hôtel est sympa avec une décoration très sympa. La chambre était très petite mais avec le nécessaire. Nous avons été surpris lors du petit déjeuner de constater que c'était vegan. Il aurait été bien de la signaler dès la description de l'hôtel sur le site de réservation.

Very close walk into town, the bridge, and Blair Atholl Distillery. Great location, breakfast was amazing as was our server!

We really enjoyed our stay at Saorsa 1875. The facility was very cute and well put together. Grounds were pleasant and fun to explore. Pitlochry itself is a short walk away. Breakfast was generous and delicious. We weren’t a fan of the smell of the soap provided and the room itself would benefit greatly from some additional ventilation, my suggestion would be to install a bathroom fan to vent some of the steam during/after a shower. Overall, I would recommend staying at Saorsa 1875. The place is beautiful and the staff is friendly.

Quirky, ill after dinner. Not for me.

Very nice place to stay. Relaxed atmosphere in a real old country house with a modern twist. Great attention to details and delicious vegan food.

We had a wondeful overnight stay at Saorsa in the Pine Marten room. The room was a good size, well presented and very clean. The beds were really comfy and the duvets were cosy. The hotel decor is fun and colourful and the weather was good so we were able to make use of the firepit area, woodland trail and hanging chairs to relax in and read. The breakfast was incredible and had lots of options including granolas with berries and seeds etc, yoghurt, baked biscuits, croissants (amazing), fresh fruit, toast with jam, peanut butter and chocolate spread, fresh juice plus home made ginger shots. The staff were all so friendly and attentive and brought over hot drinks quickly plus offered the choice of porridge, tofu scramble or baked beans. It was my first time staying at a fully vegan hotel so it was lovely to not have to worry about what food would be suitable. My travel companion is not vegan but really enjoyed the breakfast too. It was lovely having access to the lounge/bar area as a comfy area to sit, relax and read some quirkly books. The location is ideal as it is easy enough to walk into Pitlochry plus you can walk to the riverside and some other local trails too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Vegan dining was amazing and the friendly owners made it a relaxing and very enjoyable stay. Gorgeous linen and comfortable beds. Very dog friendly too. Definitely recommend. 10/10

Dinner was very good but expensive and small portions

The property was uniquely vegan, and not expected by us. Staff were very friendly and helpful but correspondence with them not easy because their email box was always full. Excellent wifi.

One of the best places we have ever stayed at. The room was fantastic and the food was amazing. Staff were incedible. If your looking for somewhere in the Pitlochry area stay here.
