The view was great and the apartment was very comfortable. Felipe was a super star. After we experienced difficulty to access the building, he arranged another studio within minutes, only a few steps down the road.

The bathroom needs an upgrade at the bottom of the shower door, as well as the basin cabinet. Please check the hinges of the kitchen cupboards. Towels have some stains on it. The above are not serious issues, but need an upgrade to ahhere to booking.com standards.

This review is going to be of the apartment located in Rua de Estação, as we actually stayed there. Long story short - after it turned out that we had booked a wrong apartment (which was totally our own fault), I called the owner, explained the situation and violà - he had a different (previously mentioned) apartment ready for us. I was really impressed with his understanding for which he needs to be commended. As for the apartment itself (again, on Rua de Estação), we couldn't have been happier - located in Campanhã, very close to the train station as well as the subway, any type of public transportation really, getting around the city was no problem and in actuality a matter of minutes. Lots of shops and diners in the vicinity too. One might think that being located to the aforementioned objects would mean that the apartment is noisy. However, this was not the case. It was perfectly silent both during the day and night and, with the nice shutters on the windows, also very dark during the night.

These experiences were marred only by a few episodes of loud night-life in the building - perhaps people forgot that someone might have children with them and actually wants to sleep at night.

The apartment itself is interesting and looks like a new apartment. Self check-in was without any problems. I spent 3 nights there with my parents in May, when it wasn't that warm. The apartment was clean, and in a good location, from where you can get to the train and bus station, and metro line in a few minutes. It is also possible to walk to the city center if you like to walk. Overall, I rate it as a nice accommodation,

As I mentioned above, we were lucky that it wasn't so hot during our stay in May, but I can't imagine how hot it must be there during the summer months - I would definitely recommend the owner to invest in air conditioning so that he doesn't get unnecessarily bad feedbacks in future. At night, you can also hear the seagull (or what was that) on the roof, as others have mentioned in previous reviews. But we didn't have a problem with that and we slept relatively well.

It was super nice rooftop apartment in a renovated house close to the metro line.

Bathroom was bit small but for us it was not a big issue.
