Mountaineer Inn

This location is a skiers dream! Perfectly situated by so many runs, you can wake up and hit the slopes in a moments notice. I especially loved the quiet coziness of the hotel. It has 3 levels of lounge areas, giving people space to come together or find their own quiet nook. It also had designated to hang your skis and boots. On top of that, there were tons of board games and even 2 arcade games! And there’s a kids playroom if you’ve got little ones to occupy which is a nice bonus for my friends with kids. Outside had some nice new gas fire pits and I’d love to come back in summer to be able to lounge by the outdoor pool! It also had a hot tub and sauna which was the perfect way to end a chilly evening.

There was nothing that I really didn't like I just wish I came at a time when all the renovations were over because I'm sure it's going to be beautiful..

Som udlændinge har man ikke altid WiFi i et andet land. Her skal man bruge WiFi for at kunne tilgå sit værelse. Der står ingen WiFi kode og der er intet personale (vi så intet personale i hver fald). Den iPad man tjekker ind på fungerer ikke optimalt og funktionen hvor man kan ringe til en medarbejder virker ikke. Vi var heldige at en sød person kom forbi og delte WiFi med os så vi kunne komme ind på vores værelse. Billederne online stemmer ikke overens med hvordan værelset ser ud. Fællesarealet nedenunder var lukket og dette var vi ikke informeret om overhovedet. Der er MEGET lydt på værelserne. Gæsterne der boede over os havde en stor hund som larmede ekstremt meget og som holdte os vågne om aftenen og vækkede os om natten.

Location is great. Quiet. Staff person who was there at check-in was helpful and pleasant. The bathroom was very clean and looked recently up-dated. Nice shampoo, body wash, etc.

False advertising! Probably a reason why this room was available! Looks like the property was recently sold and is being worked on? The common areas were in disarray, basically a staging ground to auction off items. There was packing styroform all over the floor. This hotel is in desparate need of up-grading. Start by tearing up the carpets. Also our room heat was stuck on high (the dial was painted over and unreadable). It was so hot had to sleep with the door to the outside open! Did not get much sleep. Coffee machine broken.

Easy, smooth check-in. Microwave with coffee, etc. in the morning clean nice place.

We could not sleep. Room stayed at 85 degrees. Air conditioner did not work. Windows did not open. No closet or counter space in bathroom. Do not recommend.

Clean

No microwave, no frig, no ice bucket (I was traveling with food)... fortunately that night it was much cooler than it had been so I left my cooler in the car. Had it been in the 80s, as it was in Vermont that week, my food would've spoiled. I was also lucky that the gal at the desk was there, because I didn't receive any information about my room, keypad code or anything prior to arrival. She helped with that however she was nowhere to be found after that. Checkout was a kiosk method... Room & bathroom were very small, but sufficient... thank you
