We had a wonderful time at Spinney’s. It’s a beautiful location and the staff is extremely helpful and responsive. Our room was a bit warm with the ceiling fan and open window but in all fairness, I did not address this with the staff to see if they had another fan. I would highly recommend a stay here. Location is gorgeous and walkable to the Fort and Popham Beach. Gifford’s ice-cream on site!

Our stay at Spinney's Guest House was enjoyable. We stayed in the Admiral Suite. The room was your everyday Maine decor with some modern touches. Bed is very comfortable! Kitchen is beautiful, fully stocked with utensils and there is a huge closet off the bedroom. Privacy in the room, minimal. Office is directly below the suite and only a staircase and door seperate the suite from the office. You hear all visitors check in and all incoming calls ringing in the office. Views are STUNNING during dawn and dusk! We stayed Memorial Day weekend and the traffic around the location from 11am to 4pm is VERY heavy. If you go out during these hours, you will lose your parking on the property where your room is. The closeness of the beach and Fort Popham is very convenient and beautiful..footsteps from our room. Seeing Harbor Seals in the water of the area was an added pleasure. Area is quiet at night. Staff did not ask us once, if we needed new linen's/towels, trash bags, nor did they leave any for our room during our stay of 4 nights. Overall, worth the visit and recommended.

This was a great place right on the ocean. Chris, owner and worker was very friendly. He was always available to answer questions and help out. The apartment we stayed in was comfortable and very clean The restaurant is right beside the accomodations and is very good. Will definitely recommend .

We don’t need many comforts for an overnight stay but for almost $300 for a room with a shared bathroom and only Keurig type coffee facility ( and no cups available when we wanted coffee), it was underwhelming. Also, folks should know there is nowhere near to get coffee or breakfast. The location of the inn is top notch and we had a nice beach walk before departing.
