The apartment was not as advertised. However the location in Sukosan was ok.

The apartment prioritised looks over function on every level. The pool had sunlight for less than an hour a day. It was only possible to use one lounger on the front balcony to be in sun at any one time. For a self-catering apartment the saucepans were very limited. The wardrobes were very poorly placed, to the extent that in 2 rooms they couldn't open fully without getting stuck. Several sockets were fused. The duvets provided had no covers. The property was overrun with ants despite putting bins out on the balcony.

Good location. A bit of a walk to the restaurants in the area, but nice view of the sea. Our kids loved the pool and we frequently used the bbq on the rooftop. Also nice to chill in the evenings. Nice and clean housing project.

Most problematic were the technical issues: There was strong sever smell from in bathroom. Technicians had to come twice for that. The aircon is very weak: On hot nights it was difficult to cool down the rooms. These kind of things should not happen on this price level. The living room is great, but the kitchen does not have a lot of utensils, so cooking was quite limited there. Bedrooms are very small: One of the bedrooms had the sink in the room, because it does not fit in the bathroom. In the other bedroom, it is impossible to open the wardrobe without moving the bedside table etc.

The apartment is tastefully and modernly furnished and very well equipped. We especially appreciated the clear online guides for operating the appliances and accessing the apartment via the key safe, which were conveniently available via QR code. The private pool was a definite highlight. We also liked the fact that we could park our car in the shade directly underneath the apartment. A particularly nice bonus was the quiet, uncrowded beach within walking distance – we enjoyed going there regularly. We were also fortunate to have beautiful weather throughout our stay in Sukošan, which certainly contributed to a relaxing and pleasant holiday atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful welcome gift (wine and chocolates) that awaited us on arrival – a very nice gesture.

We never had any direct contact with the hosts during our entire stay -- only via WhatsApp. Considering the price of the apartment, we would have expected a bit more service and attentiveness. On the second day, we reported via WhatsApp that the shower in one of the rooms was not working and that the water pressure at the sink located inside the bedroom was extremely low, with water only trickling out. While the response was polite, the issue was not resolved during our stay. Although announced differently in the instructions, bed linen and towels were not changed after 7 days, and toilet paper was not replenished. There was also no hairdryer available in the apartment, which we would have expected as a basic amenity. Given the price, we would also have expected some form of housekeeping service, at least every couple of days. In summary, while the apartment itself is beautiful and we very much enjoyed the surroundings, the beach, and the weather, we feel that the overall price-performance ratio is not quite justified.
