The owners are very nice.

This is an older facility, but very clean & well kept. Sam & his wife were extremely friendly & accommodating & always available if we needed anything. We will certainly return!

Location

The facility is tired and outdated. The same decorations were in the lobby from our visit 20 years ago and partially hidden by cardboard storage boxes. The room furniture was old and shop worn. The bedding was inferior including blankets that were torn and mattresses that needed to be replaced. A card in the room directed us to the front desk for a hair dryer, but when the room was serviced, the dryer was taken back. Sam said that they did not have one for each room. The bar of soap in the sink was 1"x1.5" which was a joke. The soap for the shower was double the size of that for the sink but not suitable for 2024 needs. No shampoo nor body wash was provided as we have come to expect everywhere that we have travelled here and abroad in pump dispensers on the shower wall. Publicity claimed that this was the best continental breakfast in town. The breakfast consisted of white bread, a few supermarket bagels, pop tarts and a toaster along with over ripe / bruised bananas and small boxes of cereal. There was no decaf coffee although there was a coffee pot with an orange rim which in most restaurants indicates decaf coffee. Needless to say, we ate elsewhere for breakfast. The employees were very friendly, but in our opinion, they were bailing out a sinking ship!

Very friendly helpful host and hostess. Comforable bed, quiet room and able to watch doe with twin fawns out our room window! Owner keeps bikes in locked garage for safety and to keep out of weather. Property central to awesome paved bike trails. Able to walk to shops and dining. 2 nd time here. Will stay here again when biking in area.

The owners Sam and Usha are exceptional. They keep a lovely hotel and are kind and professional. We will stay again at this gem of a hotel.
