Estoril Vintage Hotel

Absolutely fantastic - impossible to find fault with this amazing hotel. This is the way it should be! What differentiates the hotel from others is the personal service from all the staff. I won’t name names because the whole team were excellent. We booked very last minute having been let down by another hotel in Lisbon. The room was ready and everything was immaculate on our arrival. Location is also great - a brisk 15 minute walk from the centre of Cascais.

This hotel was just perfect!

This hotel was amazing. We were in town for a wedding and they were incredibly accommodating to our entire group. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and were available to help with any requests. The restaurant also had amazing food. We were a short walk away from the beach and town, and there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The property itself is beautiful and very unique, and I would absolutely recommend anyone stay here while visiting Cascais and the surrounding area.

This is a difficult review to write. There is so much to like between the beautiful old building, sea views, great food (especially breakfast), and some of the best service I have received. However all of this is let down by some of the rooms. Namely the two in the basement with garden access. While otherwise nice, they both feature a half glass wall to the hallway. This odd design choice lets in light to the basement, but also acts as a very poor sound insulator. This means sounds coming into the room (staff moving downstairs) but also sound out of the room. For the self conscious, it’s not an ideal solution. Its definitely a 5 star experience upstairs, and with some redesign, also the basement would live up to rest of the potential.
