The window to the sky - Amami Viaggi Collection

The house is spacious and has all the necassary facilities/amenities. It was very clean and the bathroom was ok sizewise.The view Is great, once you open the front door or the small window. The location is on top of the cliff in Amalfi.

Arriving at the house turned out to be a huge challenge. We we were given no information that we had to climb lots of steps with our luggage to arrive at the house and since we did not know this, we did not use the porters available at the centre/port of Amalfi. We should have been informed about that, we had a huge problem with the luggage going up the steep steps and of course we used the porter service when we left which was an additional cost of 15e a piece. Needless to say that you had to go up and down the whole distance in case you wanted to buy something. In our case we needed toilet paper as there was none when we arrived and even though we contacted the owner many times, we spent one out of the 3 days without toilet paper. There was some excuse about miscommunication with the housekeeping, but why should that concern us? Moreover, we couldn't use the moka epresso machine on the cooker (which would not turn on) and even though I sent 2 messages asking for instructions, I never got an answer. Finally, the foldout bed/couch is very uncomfortable. It is obvious that all these people/agencies that run houses nowadays are somewhere else located and cannot address/solve problems promptly.

OMG amazing. The view is exceptional.. it is close to ferry and buses. The unit was amazing has everything. The host was accomodating and there was no problems with anything. Everything you need. Be warned there is 169 steps to the room. This is an experience in itself. Saving grace once you’re there it’s no problem. Anyone that struggles though be warned and getting to Amalfi is not a walk in the park.

No smart tv for night time relaxing. The arch above the bed be careful getting in.

This accommodation was out of this world!! We LOVED our stay here for 4 nights in Amalfi. It was our first time on the Amalfi coast and we could not have picked a better location. The views from this place are amazing and really not too many stairs down into the town centre. The place itself is super comfy and spacious, has everything you could need (we stayed in late March, so it was cool). We almost didn’t book it because of lack of reviews but I am so glad we did. We were picked up from the bus station and shown to our room, and given lots of advice for our stay. All our questions were answered as first timers. If this place is available, book it! The photos don’t even do it justice, it is an absolute gem!!

WE MISSED IN THE DESCRIPTION THAT THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONER AVAILABLE IN THE ROOM. ALSO THE PORTABLE FANS PROVIDED COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. HOWEVER, SINCE WE WENT IN OCTOBER, IT WAS STILL MANAGEABLE AS IT WAS HOT ONLY DURING THE DAY. STILL, THEY SHOULD BUY BETTER QUALITY FANS FOR THE GUESTS. ALSO THE TOILER SEAT NEEDS REPAIRING.

The assistant was very kind and friendly.
