Staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms are super clean and quaint. I’d totally stay here again!

The side of the Ice Palace (ocean walk) absolutely disgusting. If the Dept of Health saw this they would shut the place down as a health hazzard. Back stairs leading to pool piled with old plastic pool furniture and garbage. Area next to back of pool and wall look horrible and piled with junk. Come on guys get it together. This could be a fabulous place. New chairs really nice, but hard a stone. Put some cushions on them. If you really have to charge then charge 10 bucks to rent them for the day. The hotel rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. Such a shame the rest of the property doesn't match

Staff was very friendly, but the room was not up to par. Floors were not very clean, lots of sand/grime got on my feet, even when we first walked in. I understand the hotel recommended slippers but this level of grime was not okay. Internet did not work on any of my devices for the first day, though that was very quickly remedied. What was particularly disappointing was getting back to our room late at night to find that we did not have hot water for our shower. We tried contacting the help desk and were met with voicemail twice. Given the fact my girlfriend and I were already cold, having an extra cold shower before going to sleep was unacceptable. Small thing, but when I went to drop off my keys, the receptionist didn't even ask how my stay was. Very grateful for the location and atmosphere, but incredibly disappointed with the hotel quality and I do not recommend.

The room was perfect for our quick stay, and it was great to have access to the pool. They provided earplugs in the room, which was thoughtful, as we were located across from the bar. However, we ended up not needing them.

Loud music all nite. Barking dog in hotel until the wee hours of the morning. Awful!

Basic amenities but we dont really come there for the hotels.....we come there for the beach. There's no public shower area thats why I book the hotel. Two years ago, I booked it just to have a place to shower. I went home at 5pm.

The hotel is great for what it is. One doesn’t ideally spend a ton of time in their room on Fire Island. Cherry Grove is beautiful. The community is welcoming and festive. This isn’t a fancy hotel with tons of amenities. It’s simple. It’s slightly dated in some areas. But every year they make improvements. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. The pool is a pool. The whole vibe is about spending time with people. It’s not a five star resort. The prices can be super high, but that’s all about supply and demand. Better rates on weeknights usually. I’ve stayed here several times. So it def works for me!

Really nice corner room. Excellent location, probably the best on the island!
