Svinøya Rorbuer

Svinøya is the perfect base for your Lofoten adventure. For starters, Svinøya is actually an island! Yes, you have to cross a bridge to get there and check in at a beautiful historic building from the 1800s. The reception is absolutely stunning and has been preserved much as it was back in the day. It feels like a living museum! You’re welcomed by friendly receptionists who provide all the information you need about the resort and the surrounding area. A special thank you to Jacob and Kristian! We also booked a table at Børsen Spiseri, and we absolutely loved it. The food, the atmosphere, and the entire setting were fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional ( Maria, Marija, Karina and Johan, thank you!! ) And let’s not forget the food, wow! Absolutely delicious! Our cabin was dreamy. I stayed in Cabin 23, a charming rorbu dating back to the 1800s, with stunning views and a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The cabin was spotless and felt very premium. We loved the peace and quiet, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Honestly, I hadn’t slept that well in years! The location of the resort is perfect. Everything was within walking distance, including the town center, activities, restaurants, and even several hiking trails like Djevelporten, Fløya and Tjelbergtinden. Higly reccomended! We also used the sauna, which was fantastic. It was so easy to jump straight into the sea afterward, such a great experience! I truly can’t recommend this resort enough. We absolutely loved it, and the entire Svinøya team made our stay feel truly magical. I can’t wait to come back and spend more unforgettable days here. Thank you, Svinøya, you are amazing!

Badezimmer war extrem klein und ist in die Jahre gekommen

Ottima posizione, bella la struttura diffusa, si affaccia sul porto della città; è molto caratteristica. Raggiungere il centro città a piedi in pochi minuti è stato comodo.

Ci è stata assegnato un rorbu norvegese di dimensioni molto contenute e purtroppo con affaccio su impianto di rifornimento carburante molto "industriale"; altre sistemazioni godevano sicuramente di vista su scorci più caratteristici. Ci è dispiaciuto anche trovare alcune stoviglie non pulite al nostro arrivo.

The "Hotel" rooms are refurbished historical Rorbues and are very cozy and equipped with a full kitchen. We had a very pleasant stay and liked it very much.
