Staff were lovely and the decor and ambience were excellent. They had a hugely useful warmed boot room for those out on the fells all day. Location was great

Unfortunately our room was at the top of the house which was hard going up rather steep stairs. Also the bed was far too firm for me. . Breakfast was generally excellent but would have liked more fruit on offer and maybe cereals for those who wished it.

It looked and felt very luxurious from the quality décor, fittings and furniture to the Bath House toiletries, ghd hairdryer and John Lewis robes. Breakfast exceptional and served by friendly staff. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious.

Beautiful location. Walking distance to the center and the lake. Nice view from the hotel room and the breakfast/bar room. The breakfast is super! A choice of very contemporary dishes. All fresh ingredients and made on order and brought to your table. Very good coffee and fresh orange juice. Very friendly staff.
